You’ll schedule a Discovery Call with the aux box team to make sure your site qualifies
2. Apply for permits
If your municipality requires them, this is the time to get those permits in order
3. Confirm your design
We’ll schedule a Design Call to confirm your choices with our team before we build
4. We build your aux box
In our safe, clean and most importantly dry facility. No mess in your yard!
5. Foundation & Utilities
Once your permits are in order, we get to work installing foundation and services
6. Delivery & Installation
Your aux box is delivered by truck and placed on-site by crane, all in one day
7. Enjoy!

Specify your design
The beauty of an aux box is that all of the hard decisions are already made for you. Together with our team of designers, we’ve created the most beautiful and functional product out there. But we know you still want to add your unique style to it to truly make it yours.
Customize your aux box by specifying these elements:
Pine
Choose between natural and whitewashed pine for your wall and ceiling panels
Floorplan orientation
We can flip any floorplan to suit your needs. Choose the orientation that suits you and your site best
Exterior siding
Choose from the colour and profile options that have been hand-selected by our design team
Non disruptive foundation
We recommend using engineered metal screw piles for your foundation because they’re fast, minimal, strong, and affordable. By using just 4-6 load points, we can avoid all the mess that comes with traditional concrete foundation; no footings, no walls, no rebar, and most importantly, no fuss.
We install the screws into the ground, level the top and place and connect your aux box onto them. If necessary, the foundations can be also easily removed with no permanent damage to the landscape.
Best of all the foundation is completed in 1 day. It’s as convenient as that.

Pricing Overview
We provide you with a fixed quote for your project before we get started. And when we say fixed quote, we mean it. It won’t change (unless you change or add to the scope of the project, of course).
15 minute Discovery Call
Free
To ensure your ideal site qualifies, this is an essential step. After the call, we send you some supporting documents.
Site Visit
$250 for a half-day + travel expenses
If after our discovery call there are still questions, we can send a team member to your property to have a look at your site and address any concerns.
DIY Project Planner
Free
We’ll send you a supporting document to walk you through site prep + installation/hookups or you can view it now.
Micro-Deposit for Proposal
$300/$2000
This package includes your quote for the aux box, delivery, crane, foundation, site services, building permit quote, a 30 minute design call and a gift card for a one night stay in an auxbox. 50% of this deposit is credited to your unit at the time of purchase.
3D rendering (optional)
$160
After you’ve selected your design elements, you may want to see what your unit will look like before we start building.
Design and Proposal Process
While there are some fixed costs we can plan for right away, there are other elements with variables that impact pricing that will need to be determined during our Discovery Call.
Foundation and Delivery
Because your site and terrain will play a big part in determining these factors, we use our call to gather info.
Installation
We can be highly involved in this process, or you can handle a lot yourself with a contractor of your choice.
